A family business with national potential
When John began working with Z Gallerie, it was a family business founded by two brothers and a sister, with six stores. The opportunity was to take it national.

Building the footprint, one premier address at a time
John built Z Gallerie’s national footprint to 92 locations in 28 states, placing the brand in the country’s premier shopping destinations, from Beverly Hills and South Coast Plaza to Cherry Creek, Mizner Park and SoHo.
When the company went through its Chapter 11 reorganization, he protected its future at the negotiating table, renegotiating 30 leases to keep its strongest stores open and managing the exit from 30 more.

A leaner portfolio, and a successful exit
With a healthier, more focused store portfolio in place, John led the 2014 sale of the company to a private equity firm for more than $200 million.
